Therapeutic Orientation
I find tremendous value, utility, and empowerment from the Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) Model of cognitive behavioral therapy and will work to help you understand these concepts, skills, and practices. Aspects of other approaches are also incorporated in the work including concepts from Choice Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the Gottman Method (of relationship counseling) and more.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is also an approach in which I have been trained though doing EMDR work virtually is not currently being offered in the telehealth meeting modality.
